PPC2000

PPC2000 is the ACA standard form of project partnering contract. The Partnering Adviser has a critical role:

  • Offering support and advice to the Partnering Team members
  • Drawing up the Project Partnering Agreement and other documentation
  • Ensuring that all the Partnering Team understand their obligations
  • Reviewing Specialist contracts

Harlow Associates currently has Partnering Advisers working on over 40 major capital projects (with a combined value in excess of £400million).

We have developed a comprehensive set of forms and guidance documents to assist the Partnering Team in the use of this new form of contract.

Our Managing Director, Jenny Jackson, is a member of the Association of Partnering Advisers, a founder member of the PPC2000 User Group, and the co-ordinater of the Yorkshire and Humberside regional PPC2000 User Group.

In the Guide to Project Team Partnering the Construction Industry Council state:

The role of the Partnering Adviser is to:

  • Guide in the selection and partnering process
  • Assist in team building
  • Record the partnering teams relationships, commitments and expectations
  • Provide a first port of call in the event of misunderstandings or disagreements
  • Assist in on-going evaluations
